MEET OUR MPK8 PRINCIPALS

Mustang Families,
It is with both gratitude and excitement that I introduce myself as your principal. The more I learn about the Monarch PK-8 community, the more eager I am to become a part of it. It is truly a privilege to join a school where students, families, and staff work together to support every learner.
Over the past 27 years, I have served as a teacher, instructional coach, and principal. These experiences have reinforced my belief that students should be at the center of every decision we make in education. I am passionate about ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality education, one that is grounded in strong relationships and excellent instruction.
For the past 12 years, I have been a principal in a PK-8 setting. I appreciate the PK-8 model for its continuity in curriculum, the long-lasting relationships it fosters, and the reduced number of school transitions for students. I have found that this structure creates meaningful opportunities to build students’ confidence and character before they move on to high school.
As a parent of three children, I understand the importance of a strong home-school connection. I believe that trust, transparency, and honest communication are the foundations of a successful school community.
I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to support our students in every way possible. I do not take this role lightly. I understand the trust you are placing in me to provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. It is truly an honor to walk alongside you in your child’s educational journey.
Warmly,
Mrs. Julie Garcia
