2025-2026 School Supply Lists
Elementary School Supply Lists
For the 2025-2026 school year, families will purchase supplies from a grade level supply list. There will be a link on the Monarch PK-8 Webstore beginning August 4 requesting a classroom donation to purchase licenses for online resources and to purchase additional classroom supplies that will be used by all students.

Kindergarten Supply List

MONARCH PK-8--SIXTH GRADE SUPPLY LIST--- 2025-2026
Here's our back-to-school supply wish list. Try to get as many items as you can, but don’t worry if you can’t find everything. If you need help, just reach out to any CORE teacher. We usually have extras and are here to help!
GENERAL SUPPLIES
- BVSD district rented Chromebook-- 1:WEB
- Wired earbuds (cheap kind to keep at school)
- 1 sturdy three prong plastic or paper folders with pockets (one will be your homework folder) - see this link for an example
- Pencils (package of 50 or more, to replenish individually as needed)-sharpened with erasers
- 2 Highlighters (2 different colors)
- Colored pencils
- Pencil Pouch (with zipper)
- Expo Markers
- Requested optional donations: tissues (2), clorox wipes (2)
CLASS-SPECIFIC SUPPLIES
Math: List for students taking Advanced 1 or 6th-grade math
(Please refer to other grade level supply lists for other math classes)
- 3-ring 1” binder (Flex or Expandable is preferred. Links are for reference only)
- 4 - 5 dividers
- Graph paper in binder (20 sheets)
- Lined paper in binder (50 sheets)
- 1 pack of Expo markers (4 or more individual markers for student use)
- Calculator-Basic (Optional)
Reading / Language Arts:
- 1 Mead composition book to use as a Reader and Writer Notebook.
- 3-ring, ½ inch binder with 3 dividers (NOT larger than 1”)

Science:

- 2- 10 divider packs (need a total of 20 dividers all together)

- Scale and Rhythm Chunks band book - must be ordered online through this link, not carried by local stores. Don’t forget to scroll down to your child’s instrument.
- We will still be using Essential Elements For Band, Book 1 (same book as 5th grade - if your child is switching instruments they will need a new one for their new instrument)
- Concert Clothes (all black dress clothes- check Goodwill or similar - many families are able to find all concert clothes for under $15!)
- Individual needs will vary by instrument (flutes: cleaning cloth; clarinet/sax/oboe/bassoon: reeds, reed holder, and swab; brass: valve/slide/key oil and tuning slide grease; bass: patch cord and tuner; percussion: stick bag with sticks and mallets, such as the Innovative Percussion Intermediate Mallet Pack)
LOCKER SPACE IS LIMITED. Please do not purchase binders larger than the requested size and Trapper Keepers or thick binders as the lockers cannot accommodate books and multiple large binders. Lockers also cannot hold backpacks that have wheels.
