5th Grade
Fifth grade at Monarch PK-8 is hands on, where our curriculum is explored through Project Based Learning. In addition to art, music, and PE, our 5th graders engage in a year-long Instrumental Music program. They also participate in Outdoor Education, where they take a multi-day field trip to YMCA of the Rockies. Students explore nature, history, geology, entomology, wildlife, team building, and much more on this one-of-a-kind trip.
